For many years TAS Sussex Area has supported postgraduate students at the College who wish to learn artisan skills which accompany the Fine Arts in all its manifestations. 

In addition, the The Arts Society East Grinstead offers an annual prize to an outstanding student.   Details of this year’s award will be published in due course.   Your Committee is considering organising an outing to West Dean, including a tour of its wonderful gardens.

West Dean is unique in the variety and quality of graduate and post graduate courses which it offers, including conservation of ceramics, furniture, works of art, books, maps and musical instruments, amongst other things.   It also offers courses in many other fields, such as sculpture, painting and drawing, garden design, basketry and wickerwork.  We are lucky that this wonderful college is located within Sussex, and Sussex Arts Society are proud to offer its support.
